Wrapping up The Walking Dead

The first series of The Walking Dead wrapped on TV2 last night ( spoilers ahead ), with an exciting, mostly non-zombie-oriented finale that instead explored the desperation of the survivors in the face of annihilation - not just of the core group, lead by Rick (the brilliant Andrew Lincoln ) and Shane (the nearly-as-good Jon Bernthal ) we've been following all along, but also of the human race.
