Yes, that's right, Millenials and Generation Z'ers: your much sought-after-yet-frequently-disrespected generation finally has a horror movie all of its own, one which hasearned the distinct honor of screening at this year's Cannes Film Festival (Screening Room Lerins, for those of you in attendance). Well done!

Here's a plot synopsis:

"Julia, an online blogger from Germany, comes to the US to visit her cousin Hannah. When Julia falls fatefully ill, unusual happening start taking place in Hannahs home, compelling her to begin a relentless internet search to discover the cause of the strange and sudden illness. Hannah checks Julias latest blog entries only to find herself immersed in the darknet and lured into the blackroom a place where terror knows no end."

Julia's an online blogger, did you say? And she's from Germany? Well, this is most unusual!And all this about internet searches and frantically-researched blog entries -will all of that be in the film, as well? And there's a doomed journey into the dark heart of the darknet? Hot damn.

Folks, we're not clear on what kind of distribution Selfie From Hell might end up with, but we know we would like to see it very, very badly. We are, in fact, counting the days. Why, we might even spend a whole week reviewing Selfie From Hell when it comes out. You don't know.
