Walking Dead teaser trailer promises 'this is not gonna end well'

AMC has released a new midseason teaser for the winter return
of The Walking Dead. The show has been on hiatus since
November, and we need a zombie fix—now! According to this
trailer, we should brace ourselves ... because death is in the
air.

The video starts off with the final shot from the midseason
finale.

[Spoilers ahead!]

You know the scene where everyone got trigger-happy and went
Billy Badass on the undead? We like to call it the "farmhouse
massacre."

The last time we saw the survivors, the crap had hit the fan.
Shane had essentially gone crazy, Hershel lost hope in (what's
left) of humanity, and Rick was stuck between a rock and a hard
place. Judging from this teaser, things are about to go from
bad to worse.

Hershel even says, "There is no hope, and you know it now."
While Rick is shown in a vulnerable position, shouting, "We all
know this is not gonna end well," who is he talking to? It
can't be a zombie, because they don't understand language.

Check out the teaser trailer below.

What do you think? Will you be tuning in for the midseason
premiere?
