Season 2 of 'Walking Dead' starts with a jump

I was a big fan of The Walking Dead's first season,
but I lost a little interest during Season 2. Unlike the books,
which move at an accelerated pace, it seemed the AMC series was
taking the scenic route.

Will things pick up when the show returns Feb. 12? I certainly
hope so -- and the network has just released the first three
minutes of the premiere, so we can get an idea of what to
expect.

The show picks up immediately after the cliffhanger in Episode
7. (Note: This clip is pretty gory. It's a horror series, you
know.)

Again, The Walking Dead returns Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
