Welcome To Blumhouse To Bring Eight New Films On Amazon – The Mariachi’s Hat Blog

Are you all ready to experience some chills and horror? Well, Amazon is partnering with Blumhouse to produce eight spine-chilling and scary movies. Blumhouse is a production empire formed by Jason Blum. All eight movies will be a part of a program titled Welcome to Blumhouse. Moreover, all the movies will be centered around the storyline of family and love, but each with a different voice and vision. Welcome to Blumhouse will be the first-ever themed connected original piece by Amazon.

The co-head of movies at Amazon, Julia, also shared her views. She said, she is beyond excited to launch Welcome to the Blumhouse with this exhilarating and provocative slate of original films for the first time ever on Prime Video.

The first four movies will be out in the upcoming October. The Lie and The Blackbox are releasing on 6th October. Whereas, Evil Eye and Nocturne will come out on 13th October.

Apart from that, we have some latest updates about the movie, The Lie. So, lets go ahead:

When their teenaged daughter confesses to impulsively killing her best friend, two desperate parents attempt to cover up the horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception. This is what the synopsis of the upcoming film reads.

On the other hand, Evil Eye is executively produced by Priyanka Chopra. The movie will be about a perfect couple, but things will go downhill when the girls mother suspects something is wrong with her boyfriends past.

Zu Quirke will be directing Nocturne, marking it as her debut. Nocturne surrounds the life of students of an art academy where a shy student finds a mysterious book that once belonged to his deceased classmate.

Black Box will be about a single father, who loses his memory after an accident. He later goes on to find out who he really is after undergoing an experimental treatment.

The cast includes Joey King (The Kissing Booth). We all know King is no stranger when it comes to playing a role in a thriller-crime. She recently did an amazing job portraying the role of real-life Gypsy Rose in the Hulu series, The Act. The movie will also star Mireille Enos (Killing Eve), and Peter Sarsgaard (The Education).

Nocturne will star Sydney Sweeny, Madison Iseman, Jacques Colimon, and Ivan Shaw. On the other hand, the cast of Black Box includes, Mamoudou Athie, Phylicia Rashad, and Amanda Christine.
