Though its a far cry from 27 Dresses, Tampa Bay fans of actor Katherine Heigl will be glad to know her latest movie, a psychological horror film, was shot right here.
Slated for an early 2021 release, Fear of Rain seems to be about a young girl, Madison Iseman of the Jumani remakes, who experiences a series of hallucinations, unsure whether they are real or in her head.
The trailer, which opens with an aerial shot of downtown Tampa, depicts Iseman as she is chased through the woods, buried alive and has maggots crawl out of her skin.
Jessica Steinbrenner, daughter of baseball mogul George Steinbrenner, is listed as one of the film's executive producers on IMDB. The movie also stars Grammy and Emmy winning actors Harry Connick, Jr., and "To All the Boys Ive Loved Before" star Israel Broussard.
