While intangible magic and sorcery are major elements of Netflix's Castlevania, there are various physical accessories that prove equally important.
Capturing a vampire requires a specific set of weapons and tools. Though the blood-sucking species are traditionally known to fear wooden stakes and garlic,Castlevania presents a breed of vampire that are more resilient than those found in most other vampire fiction. The many years that Dracula and his court have been living with humanity has taught them how to master the art of self-defense.

For this reason, the weapons, items, and tools that a vampire hunter chooses to use in battle can be the deciding factor when they meet their foe in battle. Without Trevor's trusty whipor Alucard's flying sword,Castlevania would be a very different show.
The glowing stone that Saint Germain carries is able to feel the energy created by the portal in the Lindenfeld Priory's basement. This portal can open a door to the Infinite Corridor, which can allow those who can control it access to infinite dimensions.
Though the gem itself is little more than a magic compass and a cool looking night light, the ability to track an invisible portal is important for someone interested in regularly taking advantage of the Infinite Corridor.
The original distance mirrorthatCastlevania introduced was a full-sized mirrorthat Sypha used to ground Dracula's castle from the Belmont hold.It was able to lock onto the castle, providing Sypha the ability to focus her attention and stop the castle from teleporting.
In season three, Isaac is gifted a small version of the distance mirror that allows him to see Hector trapped in Carmilla's castle. It seems that distance mirrors can come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but the ability to give its users sight of anything in the world seems to be standard.
Though Saint Germain may have struggled to pay with a foreign currency when first introduced, the world ofCastlevaniadoes still bend to coin. Morana reminds viewers of this when Striga is concerned about the Council of Sisters' plot to take Wallachia.
Striga worries that they will not be able to hold Wallachia if their forces are being depleted by their efforts to use humans as livestock. The solution is simple: When humanity fights back, just throw enough money at them to overcome their urge to fight. Viewers will have to wait until season four to see if money is as powerful an item as Morana makes itout to be.
The silver cord used to restrain Alucard in the final episode of season three nearly brought on the death ofCastlevania's resident vampire-human hybrid. This instance is also proof of how dangerous it is for Alucard to be living right above the Belmont hold.
The cord manages to intelligently wrap itself around Alucard and hold him down until Taka and Sumi are removed from the equation. It seems that this cord follows the commands of its user, a convenient trick for a vampire hunter.
In a world as destitute as the one presented in Castlevania, knowledge is power. The church proves how dangerous it can be to control the information that the citizens have in the first two seasons. The books lining the walls of the Belmont hold also taught Syphahow to ground Dracula's castle.
In the third season, Count Saint Germain is able to uncover prior Sala's hidden plans by using the books in the church. While Trevor and Sypha were having their version of an existential crisis, St. Germain was reading books and scouting out information that would prove crucial to stopping Sala and his men.
The first transmission mirror that is introduced to viewers resides in Dracula's Castle and now belongs to Alucard. This mirror, and any other transmission mirror, allow users to teleport anywhere in the world in an instant.
The only other transmission mirror that viewers have seen intheCastlevaniaTV seriesbelongs to Isaac. This mirror is much larger than Dracula's and therefore allows its user to teleport larger groups than the one in Dracula's castle. To see what Isaac has in store with his new transmission mirror fans will have to tune into Netflix when season four debuts.
Isaac may have walked tangentially to the main plot that ran through season three, but this distance allowed him to shine in a way he couldn't in the first two seasons. While he wandered through the world he used his knife to create an army of loyal night creatures.

If fans believed the act of forging an army of the dead was difficult prior to this season, Isaac's knife proved that a skilled devil forgemaster can create an army in a matter of days. Any human that meets the end of Isaac's blade is enslaved by the devil forgemaster immediately. Trevor and Sypha would be wise to approach Isaac cautious when they inevitably meet him on the battlefield.
Apparently the christened leather whip that Trevor uses early on in the Castlevania series just wasn't enough. Assoon as he returns to the Belmont estate with Alucard and Sypha, he takes the iconic Morning Star whip for himself. The ball and chain whip is christened like the leather whip he carried before, but packs a much heavier punch.
The christening causes any night creature or vampire to combust on contact, making it an extremely powerful weapon in Trevor's hands. A whip is also a unique weapon in the world of animation, allowing for spectacular action that will have fans begging for more Belmont action sequences in season four.
The army of night creatures created by Isaac and Hector are only useful because the creatures are loyal to the forgemaster that brought them back from the dead. These forgemasters are the only ones that the night creatures will obey, giving them an incredible amount of diplomatic power.
Lenore uses a small red ring that she calls a slave ring to remove Hector's diplomatic powerat the end of season three. With the ring Hector is bound to Lenore, giving her the ability to command the night army even though he is the forgemaster. A ring that can force another into slavery is powerful, but it seems that without a verbal promise, the ring has no power.
Gamersenjoying the newest addition toSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate's character rostermay have been reminded of Alucard's magical blade. The magical sword is long enough to make Sephiroth blush. In fact, it is so long that a normal human would struggle to even wield the blade.

Alucard makes the long sword dance throughout the first two seasons ofCastlevania, but it is relegated to the sidelines of season three while he struggles withhis mental health. When the final weapon finally appears, controlled by nothing other than Alucard's mind, fans may have forgotten how over-powered this weapon is.
