Neetu Kapoor returns to movies with Jugjugg Jeeyo.

Neetu Kapoor is returning to the movies after a long time with Raj Mehta's Jugjugg Jeeyo. The actress has been paired opposite Anil Kapoor in the film, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. Needless to add, it must have been a different feeling for Neetu to return to the sets of a film after a long time. Her last film was Besharam. During a recent interaction, IndiaToday.in exclusively asked the actress to describe the feeling of returning to movies.

Speaking exclusively to IndiaToday.in, Neetu Kapoor said, "It was damn scary to return after so many years. Ek toh umar bhi hogayi hain aur dialogue bhi yaad nahi rehte (I have turned old and can't even remember the dialogues). There were no small dialogues. Do pages ke saath dialogues the. So I decided when I will do a film, (I would tell the makers), please give me less dialogue. But here, there were two pages of dialogue and I was so nervous thinking that I wouldn't remember it. But achese hogaya, thank god I got Covid-19 (laughs)."

The actress further added, "And then I went to Chandigarh and Raj (Mehta) told me jo 2 pages wale 2 scenes hain vo abhi karnewale hain. He said we would do 1 scene after one week and the remaining one after 10 days. I was tense for 10 days and on the 10th day, I was diagnosed with Covid-19. And then I came to Mumbai and a year passed by. In that year, I did a lot of shows and went here and there. So I gained a bit of confidence and then those scenes were shot. And then, I was in a better space and I was looking forward to doing those scenes. But those days, it was terrible."

There are only a few days left for the release of Jugjugg Jeeyo. The film has been directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions. Neetu Kapoor's daughter Riddhima Kapoor recently reviewed her mom's movie. It is all set to release in cinemas on June 24, 2022.
