Netflix's take on stories from the Castlevania games has exploded in popularity. The first look at Season 4has left fans drooling for more gory vampire action. But fans may also find themselves wondering about other characters from the game franchise.
With more information about the personalities of Alucard, Sypha, and Trevor, what about people like Alucard's mother? What about the forgemaster Hector or even Dracula himself? That's where Zodiac signs come in.

Everyone knows that astrology isn't quite a science, but each sign does correspond to different personality traits. Which Castlevania character fits with which Zodiac sign?
Aquarians tend to be independent thinkers, progressive, idealistic, and creative. Their tendencies towardbeing social works well with humanitarian efforts. However, people born betweenJanuary 20 to February 18 can also be emotionally detached, impersonal, easily influenced, and finicky.
Maria Renard, a recurringvampire hunter in the Castlevania games, fits this archetype well. As an adult, she is optimistic, precocious, determined, and insistent on doing what she sees as the right thing. But she can also be a bit clumsy, never takes "no" for an answer, and lets impulse control her choices.
Hector failed to defeat Trever Belmont which led to Dracula's death in 1797. After that, he just wanted to lead a normal life and he did, until Dracula's other forgemaster coordinated the execution of Hector's wife for being a witch.Hector's actions line up well with how a Pisces might navigate the situation. Well, in the Castlevania world anyway.
People born betweenFebruary 19 - March 20 are empathetic, compassionate, artistic, and idealistic. This leads them to be overly trusting, naive, insecure, and lacking in ambition.
When Gordon Ramsay calls someone a "Donkey" out of frustration, he's thinking of Trevor Belmont. He is a persistent hunter who cares deeply for the people in his life, always takes on a challenge, and can't wait to have a beer after killing some monsters.

People born betweenMarch 21 - April 19 share these traits with Trevor. However, they can also be quick-tempered, overly competitive, impatient, and a bit moody at times. Overall, they still make fantastic leaders if terrible trivia night partners.
Isaac appears very differently in the Netflix Castlevania series than in Curse of Darkness. However, hisself-flagellation and role as a faithful Dracula forgemaster both remain intact. As with the Netflix series, Isaac from the game exhibits unflappable loyalty to Dracula. This ultimately leads to his death.
People born betweenApril 20 - May 20 can fall prey to extreme stubbornness, inflexibility, vengefulness, and a "better the devil you know" mentality. However, Taurus signs can also be wonderful friends, tenacious, ambitious, and enjoying simple (or not-so-simple) pleasures in life.
Soma appears as the seemingly average protagonist of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. But it turns out that he is a vessel for Dracula's reincarnation. He exhibits a dual nature as a result of this dark connection. Regular Soma can be a bit serious, but loves the people around him and would do anything for them.
As evil Soma, he displays the worst Gemini traits of impulsivity, egoism, and superficiality. More positive traits for those born betweenMay 21 - June 20 include cleverness, adaptability, and an outgoing nature.
Jonathan is not a Belmont nor a vampire; he belongs to another vampire hunting family known as the Morrises. As one of the protagonists in Portrait of Ruin, Jonathan grew up alongside Sypha Belnades descendant Charlotte Aulin. The two of them stop Brauner from destroying the world.

Jonathan is committed to his mission, attentive to the needs of others, and quite loyal. He's a natural fit for Cancer or the sign for people born betweenJune 21 - July 22. Negative traits can include vindictiveness, secretiveness, and struggling to see the upside of things at times.
Leon Belmont is definitely a Leo and not just because of those sweet, sweet locks. He was the first of the Belmont clan to dedicate himself (and the bloodline) to hunting vampires. His role as the premier knight of the land meshed well with his stalwart moral foundations and do-gooder mentality.
But Leon's hubris, as with all Leos, stood in the way of his success. Other traits of people born betweenJuly 23 - August 22 include confidence, generosity, protectiveness of loved ones, and competitiveness. Unfortunately, those same traits can lead to arrogance, authoritarian dominance, possessiveness, and impatience.
Beautiful and terrifying, Alucard is the hybrid son of Dracula and Lisa. He helped Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades kill his father in 1797 and appears as the sole protagonist of Symphony of the Night. He exudes an air of coolness, determination, and easy beauty.
But, like all Virgos, Alucard can become closed off, bitter, and melancholic. People born betweenAugust 23 - September 22 thrive when given earnest attention from loves ones. That's something Alucard definitely didn't get enough of in his undead life.
Poor Lisa. The kind woman committed the cardinal sin of falling in love with the wrong person and got executed as a witch because of it. A healer by trade, Lisa was kind to a fault and able to see things from multiple perspectives including Dracula's. This lines up well with other Libra traits.

People born betweenSeptember 23 - October 22 often have strong moral compasses, diplomacy skills, and an appreciation of beauty. But they are also prone to overthinking, confrontation avoidance, and self-pitying.
Shanoa works with the Order of Ecclesia, an entity fighting Dracula in the absence of the Belmonts. Except she has no memory of her former life, got attacked by her adoptive brother, and was supposed to be a vessel for the power to defeat Dracula.
Shanoa, like others born betweenOctober 23 - November 21, can be quite serious, strong-willed, and protective of those she cares about. She also likes the finer things in life such as art, fashion, music, and photography. But, like other Scorpios, she can be stand-offish, detached, vengeful, and distrustful of others.
Sypha might be one of the best examples of a Sagittarius sign in modern media. A natural-born witch, Sypha is a passionate goofball who can really ruin someone's day if she sets her mind to it. She originally helps Trevor Belmont and Alucard destroy Dracula in 1797.
Like other people born betweenNovember 22 - December 21, Sypha adores freedom and adventuring. But Archers can struggle with authority, impatience, tactlessness, and a nosy nature. The Netflix Castlevania series does a wonderful job fleshing out her personality since she appeared in the earlier, less detailed games.
As a human named Mathias, Dracula worked alongside Leon as a military strategist. But his family's extensive research into alchemy led him to become Dracula after the tragic death of his first wife. He didn't lose that sentimentality when a plucky human woman named Lisa brightened his castle gates.
Though he bears darker motivations, Dracula's overall personality lines up with those born betweenDecember 22 - January 19. Capricorns can be quite sensitive, ambitious, practical, and tenacious. However, they can be moody, pessimistic, unforgiving, and, in Dracula's case, hateful of all humankind.
