DINGDONG Dantes co-produced the upcoming horror movie "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles," which is set to be released in the coming weeks.

Dingdong said he is proud of the project as it is the first movie in the country to use full CGI (computer-generated imagery) effects.

He said he is anticipating that "Tiktik" will produce good results in theaters.

"I would want it to be successful because first siya in Philippines cinema and breakthrough siya sa maraming bagay [it's a breakthrough in many ways]," he said.

He candidly said that wanted to get back the "hard-earned" money he invested into the project but stressed that wanted to achieve more than that.

It's a good eye-opener to the public that Filipinos can do good movies with sheer dedication, time and resources, he said.

He said that he wanted to showcase Filipino culture and folklores using CGI effects.
