If one movie is going to take priority over release schedules, it's David Gordon Green's second installment in hisHalloweenreboot,Halloween Kills.Initially, Halloween Killswas set to hit theaters in the fall of 2020, but it was also delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While Blumhouse could've opted for a summer release likeThe Forever Purge,it is theHalloweenfranchise. As such, it would be a bit odd to not release the movie during the month of October.
