Prince Andrew High School in Dartmouth has been temporarily turned into Locust Harbor High School as film crews continue production of the movie.

The short won best short and best cinematography awards at the 2015 Los Angeles Horror competition.

Variety says the full-length movie stars Kathryn Prescott , Mitch Pileggi and Grace Zabriskie.

Last summer, an old Target store in Bedford became the shooting location for a multi-million-dollar television series inspired by Stephen Kings The Mist.

Polaroid is set to hit theatres on Aug. 25.
