Horror movie shot by Kettering-born producer needs crowdfunding support to hit silver screen – Northamptonshire Telegraph

The producer of a horror movie shot in Northamptonshire starring Emmerdale's Gemma Atkinson is appealing for crowdfunding support to finish it.

Kettering-born Gene Fallaize is the chief executive officer of Cupsogue Pictures, which filmed a horror film in the vein of classic horror/thrillers from the 1970s and 1980s such as Halloween and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

'Cain Hill' was shot in locations in Northamptonshire, and the cast includes Gemma Atkinson ('Airborne', 'Emmerdale'), Alex Zane ('Rude Tube', 'Hotel Babylon'), Phill Martin ('Pan', 'Prometheus') and Michael Parr ('Emmerdale'), and the film is currently in the final stages of post-production.

"The budget for the film was entirely raised using crowdfunding, and we have managed to get the film this far, but we are seeking finishing funds to complete the film, including the final edit, music, and sound design from a Hollywood-based Emmy-winning sound team," he said.

"I'm reaching out to people from Northamptonshire to help us by getting involved and contributing to our IndieGoGo fundraising campaign. In return for contributions, we are offering various 'perks', including executive producer credits, thanks credits, signed posters and scripts, and screen-used props from the film," he added.

"Producer credits are an ideal way for those interested in a career in film to start getting involved, and are great advertising and marketing tools for businesses, and I'm hopeful that Northamptonshire people will want to get involved in this project," he said.
