The cast of Pretty Little Liars is filled with stars that have been in a variety of other films, some of which you may have never heard of!

When a television show is as popular and beloved as Pretty Little Liars, the actors who star in it become best known for said show. However, this cast, like every other, has been featured in a variety of other series and films before and after PLL.

For instance, Lucy Hale was in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, and Ashley Benson was in Spring Breakers. Down below, though, 10 different movies are listed out that feature PLL stars and that fans may have not ever heard of at all. See them here and now, and check them out soon!

In 2015, a horror flick called Martyrs was released, and it starred actors such as Bailey Noble, Kate Burton and Troian Bellisario, who played Spencer Hastings on PLL.

Martyrs, which was actually a remake of a movie of the same name from 2008, focused on friends who wanted to get revenge on those who had hurt them. Perhaps all the lying, sneaking around, and fighting off of A helped Bellisario prepare for this role!

Another scary movie, which also came out in 2015, was Ratter, and it starred Ashley Benson, along with Matt McGorry. A found-footage-style story, it was about a grad student being stalked by someone through her technological gadgets.

Bensons PLL character, Hanna Marin, certainly was familiar with that sort of e-torment, thanks to all those creepy texts and emails from A.

Trouble, from 2019, was a computer-animated movie with Sean "Big Sean" Andersen, Pamela Adlon, Wilmer Valderrama, Joel McHale, Damon Wayans Jr., Snoop Dogg, and Betty White, to name a few. It also had Lucy Hale as Zoe Bell, a pizza deliverer/aspiring singer/the owner of a dog named Trouble.

Based on the genre alone, this seems like a nice, fun, and slow pace, compared to all the drama Aria Montgomery, Hales character on PLL, endured!

Shay Mitchell, who was Emily Fields on PLL, appeared in Dreamland in 2016. This was part comedy and part drama, along with some musical elements, and it was all about a pianist starting a relationship that caused some issues. It also featured celebs like Johnny Simmons, Amy Landecker, Jason Schwartzman, and Beverly D'Angelo.

We wonder if Mitchell weighed in on the problem-causing relationship since Em definitely dealt with some of those in Rosewood.

The plot of Coin Heist involved students breaking into a mint, in order to create coins to sell to collectors, all so that they could raise money for their school. This crime flick, which came out on Netflix in 2017, featured a familiar face for fans of PLL: Sasha Pieterse a.k.a. Alison DiLaurentis!

Hell Is Where The Home Is, from 2018, starred Jonathan Howard, Angela Trimbur, Zach Avery, Fairuza Balk, and Janel Parrish. The story focused on couples being tormented by a violent group, all while on vacation in the desert.

Since Parrish played A for a bit, she was no stranger to stories of stalking and harming.

Ian Harding portrayed Ezra Fitz on PLL, and in 2018, he was in a horror-comedy titled Office Uprising. It released on Crackle and was about a military-made energy drink turning everyone in a company that made weapons violent.

Love Is All You Need, which came out on iTunes in 2016, was a drama starring Emily Osment, Briana Evigan, Blake Cooper Griffin, Jeremy Sisto, and Tyler Blackburn.

It focused on relationships, and it just so happens that on PLL, Blackburns character, Caleb Rivers, was in a fan-favorite relationship with Han!

James Franco has a couple of connections to PLL: He was in Spring Breakers with Ashley Benson, and he was written, produced, starred in and directed several films that feature Keegan Allen a.k.a. Toby Cavanaugh!

There was Palo Alto in 2013, which had Franco, Emma Roberts, and Allen as Archie "Skull." There was The Sound and the Fury from 2015, in which Allen portrayed Man with Red Tie. There was In Dubious Battle from 2016, which had Franco, Josh Hutcherson, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Selena Gomez, and Allen. And there was Zeroville from 2019, with Franco, Megan Fox, Seth Rogen, Joey King, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, and Allen as Your Pale Blue Eyes Killer.

Finally, there is Vanessa Ray, who played CeCe Drake. In 2015, she was in a musical comedy called The Rumperbutts. It starred Kori Gardner and Jason Hammel, who make up an indie-pop duo named Mates of State, and it was about a struggling, married indie band duo.

From a tiny Texas town of 300, I made my way to the University of Texas at Austin to study journalism, which spurred me on to write for publications like New Yorks Resident Magazine, Austin Home and Us Weekly and to cover events such as South by Southwest, Austin Film Festival and New York Fashion Week. Now, I have my own brand, and I'm able to create social media posts, press releases, news pitches and more. When I'm not writing, I'm probably playing with my cat, vacationing with my family or watching Netflix with my husband.
