How have you been staying in shape for the upcoming volleyball season?

I have been staying in shape and getting stronger for this upcoming volleyball season through practices and our after school conditioning program. I have spent a lot of time in the gym continuing to work my volleyball skills as well.

What has been the toughest part of getting ready for a season during a pandemic?

The toughest part of getting ready for a season during a pandemic is definitely the uncertainty. It is hard to stay motivated at practices and workouts for a season that could possibly not happen, but we are staying positive!

Do you have a favorite high school sports memory?

My favorite high school sports memory was from last year's senior night. We took Hayesville in five sets. I loved the atmosphere of the gym that night, and watching my team come together and fight hard for the win.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?

My expectations for the upcoming season are high. We have lots of talent moving up from the JV team this year. With their strong desire to compete and the preexisting winning mentality, I expect big things from this team. We want to contend for the SMC title and go to the playoffs.

If you could pick one super power, which one would you choose and why?

I would pick the ability to teleport. Reason one is because it is just awesome, and reason two is because I always lock my keys in my car.

Whats your favorite scary movie? Why?

None I HATE scary movies!! Even the ones for little kids freak me out.

What are you plans for after graduation?

After graduation, I will be attending and playing volleyball at Lenoir-Rhyne University. I want to get my undergrad in Exercise Science and then a masters in Occupational Therapy.

If you could invite three people to dinner, past or present, whom would you invite?

I would invite Garth Brooks, Victoria Garrick, and Jesus.
