The Walking Deadis an Americanpost-apocalyptichorrortelevision series. This series is based on thecomic book series of the same name. Robert Kirkman,Tony Moore, andCharlie Adlard wrote the comic books.The series is exclusively broadcast onAMCin the United States. Internationally the show is broadcast through theFox Networks Group. The series premiered on October 31, 2010.

According to IMDb, The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by former police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. As the world overrun by the dead takes its toll on the survivors, their interpersonal conflicts present a greater danger to their continuing survival than the walkers that roam the country. Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some grow willing to do anything to survive. Based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard.

From the 1st season until the 9th we can seeAndrew LincolnasRick Grimes who is the seriess protagonist and a former sheriffs deputy. Rick is the leader of a group of survivors and becomes the leader of Alexandria.Another cast member is Norman Reedus asDaryl Dixon, the groups primary hunter. We also seeSteven Yeun,asGlenn Rhee who was aformerpizza deliveryboy who saved Ricks life. Another member of the cast has to beChandler Riggs,asCarl Grimes who isRick and Loris young son. Melissa McBrideasCarol Peletierwho was originally a meek housewife. Later Carol overcomes domestic abuse to become a skilled, resourceful fighter capable of making difficult decisions.

The network still has no declared a date for the debut of the upcoming season. This season is expected to air sometime in late 2021 where the later half of the show will air in early 2022.
