If your heart has been longing for a science-fiction comedy about great space adventures, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy might just be what you are looking for. Initially, it was a radio broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 1978 which was then adapted into stage shows, novels, comic books, a TV series, a videogame, and this 2005 film.

Martin Freeman plays Arthur Dent who discovers that his house is about to be demolished to make way for a bypass. His friend Ford Prefect takes him to a bar to comfort him and reveals that he is an alien and that Earth is about to be destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass. Ford manages to save Arthur and they begin their travels across the galaxy.

Edgar Wright's Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy is famous for its unique humor - much like Wright's work as a whole. The World's End is the third and final installment with Freeman playing the role of Oliver "O-Man" Chamberlain.

The story follows Gary King, a forty-year-old alcoholic who gathers his group ofchildhood friends to complete the "Golden Mile" which consists of twelve pubs and ends with "The World's End" pub. While at it, they discover a plot to replace all the humans with androids.

Though Martin Freeman had a minor role in Black Panther (playing Everett K. Ross, the CIA agent who has interacted with superheroes before), the film is still a very important one for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and for cinema itself.

The story begins after the events of Captain America: Civil War and follows T'Challa who returns to Wakanda after the death of his father T'Chaka. Though The Hobbit trilogy might have been a disappointment for some fans after Peter Jackson's iconic The Lord of the Rings trilogy, it was still a decent fantasy trilogy with Martin Freeman playing one of his most well-known characters, Bilbo Baggins.

The Battle of the Five Armies begins where The Desolation of Smaug had ended. Bilbo and company are now forced to participate in a war between the orcs, elves, dwarves, and people while trying to keep the Lonely Mountain from being overtaken.

After the events of An Unexpected Journey, Bilbo and the company should continue their journey to the Lonely Mountain while encountering many dangers on their way.

Hot Fuzz is the second film in Edgar Wright's Three Flavours Cornettotrilogy. Martin Freeman only had a small cameo role in it, but it was still very memorable. The scene shows Freeman's character promoting Simon Pegg's character to Sergeant.

The story follows Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) and Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), two police officers who investigate a series of mysterious deaths in a West Country village.

After the success of The Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson decided that he wanted to expand on that world by adapting another one of Tolkien's books, The Hobbit. The book was split into three parts with An Unexpected Journey becoming the first film of the trilogy.

The journey begins when Bilbo Baggins is visited by the wizard Gandalf who - unbeknownst to Bilbo - invites a group of dwarves to his house who are about to set out on a journey to the Lonely Mountain where they will reclaim their home.

Captain America: Civil War was the first MCU film where Martin Freeman appeared as the CIA agent Everett K. Ross. It is also the second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe directed by the Russo brothers and the third installment in the Captain America trilogy.

The story takes off after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Because of the destruction caused by Ultron's army and the superheroes as well as Wanda's subsequent accidental disaster in Lagos, the government wants to control the superheroes with the help of the Sokovia Accords.
