Sam and Dean are super unhappy with their mother. To the point where they literally kick her out of the bunker. And who are we kidding, Mary sort of deserves it. Shes been lying about her involvement with the British Men of Letters, whom shes been working with on major monster devastation plans. Her explanation falls back on the greater good, but in the world of sci-fi, thats usually not a very good excuse. While at the militarized base hosted by her new BFFs, she texts her younger son that she needs to see him ASAP. But rather than scold, Mary legitimately needs Sams help. Its vampire-slaying time.

Mary and the British Men of Letters explain their plan to Sam. The vampires HQ is in Wichita, Kansas. After the raid, theyll move on to the rest of the country, and according to Mary there wont be a single bloodsucker left in the US of A. In their hovel, two vamps share a delicious drink of human blood and the elder asserts that his nest is a fortress. But then, the Alpha steps in to offer his assistance and parentage. It looks like vampire-slaying wont be as easy-peasy asArthur and Mary thought.

Mickand Dean share some tense small talk over whiskey in the bunker. The Brit insinuates that Dean belongs with a elite rank of hunters, and as Dean stews, you can tell hes considering it. Back with mom, Sam is accosted by a fan, one of Rufus old buddies. People falling over themselves for Sammy seems to be a theme this season and Dean getting wooed by guns. Hes impressed by Micks stock of weaponry, and the two enter a seemingly-abandoned hotel. Mick drags vampire girl Kris out from hiding by her hair and starts throwing punches. Dean intervenes, and Kris reveals that the other vampires went hunting after the, well, hunters.

On the security tapes, it becomes evident that Mary, Sam and the rest of the British are in trouble. A team of vampire assassins has started taking out operatives. The team rushes to lockdown, but vampires have already infiltrated the base. Sam takes one down, and the rest spread out to surround the building. The hostage reveals the Alpha is on his way. And the team is woefully unprepared, since no one has ever actually killed a vampire save the Winchesters and Sams idol. But then, its revealed that the British Men of Letters possess the Colt and Mary confesses she stole it, to Sams displeasure. He shares one of Bobbys old recipes to make super-bullets, and fights his way through bloodsuckers to get to the armory.

The Alpha enters the control room and starts sucking blood. It seems Pierce, Sams little friend, has been keeping him under the radar. Damn you, Pierce! Then the head honcho vamp gets really Make America Great (and/or full of vampires) Again with Mick. In flashbacks, we see Pierce take out Mary in a supply closet. She tells Sam its time to go, but thats not really Winchester style, is it? Sam pops up from hiding with the Colt aimed at the Alphas heart. He promises to let things go back to normal i.e. keeping the bloodsuckers in check, but leaving big bads alone and even gives over Mick. LOL. But nothing is as it seems, and when Sam shoots, he aims to kill. With a shudder and a gasp, the Alpha is #SLAYED.

Mary and Sam take out the stragglers, but Mick is in a state of shook with his buddies lying dead on the floor. Seems like the British cant handle everything, after all. Arthur confronts him about meddling with the Winchester contingency plan, and Dean collects his kids I mean, his mother and brother. They have an adult conversation and Arthur drags Pierce away for torture, probably. It seems like Sam and Mick are on good terms again. For now.
