Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Emma Caulfield reveals she has a secret role in Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ show WandaVision.

The cast ofWandaVision now includesBuffy the Vampire Slayer star Emma Caulfield in a mystery role. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is close to changing in a major way with the launch of its first official TV show. After Marvel TV made shows for ABC, Netflix, and more, Marvel Studios is doing it themselves in Phase 4 thanks to Disney+. The first MCU show will bring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany back to play Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch and Vision.

Marvel has so far kept most information forWandaVisionunder wraps, as everything from the plot to the cast is largely a mystery. There are only a few confirmed cast members for a show that is set to hold nine episodes. Other than Olsen and Bettany in the leading roles, some more familiar faces from the MCU will appear inWandaVision. Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings), Jimmy Woo (Randall Park), and an adult Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) are all set to appear.The show will also mark the MCU debut of Kathryn Hahn as the nosy neighbor Agnes. And while the marketing has revealed a few other cast members likeFred Melamed andDebra Jo Rupp, the cast has now grown again.

The actress, best known for her role as Anya in Joss Whedon's hit series, confirmed her casting on Twitter. While she did not provide any details on her new MCU role, Caulfield is thrilled to finally share the exciting news with fans.

It's possible Caulfield's character could be connected to that story in some way or pose a magical threat to Wanda. Thankfully, it might not be too long before Caulfield's role inWandaVision is revealed.
