Vampire Diaries season 9 will Nina Dobrev come back in the search of blood in the new season? The series follows the life of 17-year old Elena Gibert, who falls in love with a centuries old vampire named Stefan Salcatore. As a result, Elena and her friends are drawn into the supernatural world of Mystic Falls, where its suffering from vampired, werewolves, witches, doppelgangers and original vampires. Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated as Stefans mysterious older brother Damon Salvatore returns, with an idea to bring back their old flame Katherine Pierce, a vampire who looks exactly like Elena. Although Damon initially harbors a grudge against his brother for forcing him to become a vampire, he later reconciles with Stefan and falls crazy with Elena, creating a love triangle among the three. Both brothers plan to protect Elena as they face various villains and threats to their town, including Katherine. The brothers history and therefore the towns mythology are revealed through flashbacks because the series goes on.
