Dead Snow 3 will feature ‘Zombie-Hitler,’ says director – EW.com

Tommy Wirkolas directing credits include 2013s Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters and the new, Noomi Rapace-starring Netflix science fiction-thriller, What Happened to Monday. But the Norwegian filmmaker made his name with the 2009 horror movie Dead Snow, about vacationing students battling unfrozen and undead Nazis, and then greatly expanded that films universe with 2014s Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead. Whats left to say on the subject? The answer, according to Wirkola, is plenty.

Just so you know, if youre a fan of the Dead Snows, were hoping to make a third one in a few years, says Wirkola. Weve got to finish the trilogy, so Im very excited about that. Weve got to finish what we started, all of us! We have some ideas. I think its natural to maybe put some of the story in South America, where a lot of the Nazis fled, of course. Weve got to top what weve done before, we have to bring back Hitler as well. Zombie-Hitler. That just feels natural.
