Varun Tej heaps praise on Teja Sajja at Zombie Reddy pre-release event – Times of India

After films like Awe and Kalki, acclaimed director Prasanth Varma is all set to enthral the audience with his upcoming film Zombie Reddy. Promoted as the first Zombie flick in Telugu cinema, the pre-release event of the action-horror film took place on Tuesday in the city and Mega hero Varun Tej graced the occasion as the chief guest. Draped in a casual black tee and denims, the 31-year-old actor stole the show with his beefed-up physique meant for his upcoming boxing-drama Ghani. Speaking at the event, Varun Tej heaped praise on Teja Sajja for choosing such a unique film at the beginning of his protagonist career. He said Ive been acting for last five years. But, he has been in the industry for 20 years. I try to do different films. I really appreciate Teja for doing this as his debut film. Chiranjeevi loves Teja a lot. He has told me to convey his wishes to Teja and team. Remembering his association with the Mega family, Teja said People used to tell me that I've mega family support. Now, I came to know the real value of it now. Though Chiranjeevi sir is super busy with Acharya, he promised to give us time after the release of our film. Zombie Reddy will entertain all the section of audiences, particularly kids. Starring Bus Stop fame Anandhi as the female lead, the film features actors like Daksha Nagarkar, Harsha Vardhan, Raghu Babu, Hari Teja and Getup Srinu in pivotal roles. In August 2020, Prasanth Varma revealed some interesting details about the film and expressed confidence of international recognition. He said The film revolves around coronavirus and is set up in Kurnool. How people of Kurnool save the world by stopping the pandemic is what my film is all about. It shows Kurnool and its people in a good light actually, so people dont misunderstand the title.
